Real Friends ~ Real Privilege
written on Thursday, November 8, 2012 @ 8:33 AM ✈
I guess I have never been thankful for the real friends I have now. They are very quirky and fun and ridiculous and hilarious in every manner. I mean like, we could be the three idiots patterned into eight much much idiotic people, or the ever famous F4 except that we're not all boys and we're not the 'hottest' (okay, we are. LOL. Fine, no.), or even the too-mainstream bloodsucking pack, but then we don't sparkle in midday. (That's a good thing, right?) But the thing is, no matter how high the rate of our differences may reach, we remain intact and compatible - in a friendly way, of course.
Some of us never really got the chance to know the other one personally, but the way we talk, scream, and insult the other we felt like we've been of great company in our past life. Our souls remain of great deals even how the centuries (centuries?) fly and fly and fly away. Ang KJ kasi ng oras, ang bilis lumipad.
They are the people I walk close in when times all I feel is just to laugh and laugh and laugh until my stomach drops off and melt. Each one of the group plays a significant charmer on a particular aspect. Zena is my ultimate psyche adviser. She has this widest range of ideas that never run out! Believe me, she has the most amazing skin ever!!! I'm jelly forever. ( Ano ang kaugnayan nun sa adviser?!) Vanessa is my ultimate gay pal. I can't ever ever ever ever resist her poking voice and silly facial expressions. We have this little 'philosophi-cal' debate going on that I find really interesting because neither of us ever wanted to lose. So we gotta make sure our next words would be the 'havey-est' banat. Neil is the seemingly good boy with a good image and a good heart. (But isn't actually. LOL) He's cool. He goes with the flow and he's attentive. No matter how many times he had been unfortunate in the field of love, you can never see him dwell much about how things go bad and disorderly. Well, that's Neil. The kind-hearted brother to the clique. Then there goes Jason. The boy essentially believed to have the toughest 'sex appeal' which I already consider because he really does have that 'Umph!' girls look for a guy. ( Yung totoo, wala naman talaga. Nasa isip lang niya yon! Pagbigyan kasi kabarkada naman, hihihi.) Trust me when I say that this guy doesn't really have the skills of handling love the right way. ( Kasi yung right way ko eh yung magso-syota ka ng mahal mo talaga) But also trust me when I say that he treats girls like how a real man treats his woman. ( Ikaw na Sinaj, ikaw na.) And then there's our Buddy. He's literally huge! :) Both outside (Come on, let's admit it Buds) and inside. He may be rich and rich, sells cars and spare parts, and rich and yes rich, he is definitely humble. ( Natunaw ka naman Buddy?!) He's my gossip carrier. And he's an athlete - which is ironic `cause he's still huge. But we like it. :) ( Kung makapagsalita parang di rin mataba noh?! Bruja.) In one way or another, the bond wouldn't be good without Xerxes - the geeky one. His curiosity is a bit too high for me to reach, but yet he adds fun to the word ' barkada'. And that's good. We like that he's quiet but fierce. ( Para bang America's Next Top Model ang dating ba) And he's great in math - valuable for the grades. :) And the gang's favorite part is..... Prima Ballerina!!!! Prime is the clown of the bunch. He is she. ( Alam na nyo yun!) I don't know why but he reminds me so much of Vice Ganda. He's tall (pretty, sexy), funny, thin, hysterical and everything associated with humor. He stands as our judge of finding the cutest boy around the room and believe me, he sights them right. ( May feeling tuloy ako na may gusto ito sa organ niya LOL)
FUN FUN FUN. That's how friendship should be. :) I am grateful.

It's all about who we are..for real
“I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.”
Bill Cosby
Hey!I'm Roseanne Erika A. Loquellano. My friends call me Erika, but when I reached college, some of my new-found friends call me Rosiee or Chichi. And it's weird hearing that.
I've been living in this crazy for 17 years now. My journey has always been and will always be a bumpy one. I've been through the loudest laughter and the saddest tears but still here I am today, standing still, proud and happy to who I really am.
I have an amazing family. My dad, Ronnie, has been working overseas since I was three. God knows how much I miss him every single day that he's not around. He still calls my mom 'Love' and it's so thoughtful of him for doing that. My mom, Evelyn, is a public elementary teacher. She was my Filipino teacher when I was in the 6th grade too. She's a bit loud I tell you, but deep inside, she's really sweet, funny and of course loving. I have two ridiculous older brothers. Rodney, the eldest, dreams of becoming a pilot but still hasn't find enough financial support for his training, which leads him to apply for a job in a ship company. Michael, my older brother, is on his last year in college already. So we'll be expecting a fully-payed nurse maybe 2 years from now after his board exams and additional experiences. I, being the youngest of the siblings, am on my first year in Biology, because I hoped to become a doctor some day.
Being a doctor isn't just my only dream by the way. I had hoped of becoming an actress ever since I was a child. The limelight has always been the source of my inspiration every time I declaim, which eventually make me look like I am natural. Well, my mother was an actress anyway. In her college years, she was an athlete, musician, declaimer and a dancer, no wonder how I got my ever awesome chromosomes. Ahihihi. I wanna explore the center stage, and I wanna know what it feels like to win an Oscar and have a sold-out concert. But yeah, I have to stick to college first. My mom says, no matter what age you'll reach dream, it's still fulfilling `cause you know you have accomplished something really important to you.
I always remind myself to stay inspired. Because it is only through inspiration that we are motivated to move and be different. This still ain't my moment to shine (bright like diamonds and make tons of money, hihi), but somehow someday when my moment comes, I will be a champion. :) Stay inspired!
